E‑Learning Platform Setup for a Training Institution

Training Institution Liberia

The Challenge

The institution wanted to reach more learners and support flexible study options, but delivery was fully face‑to‑face. There was no central platform for sharing materials, collecting assignments, or hosting online sessions.

Our Approach

Legacy Brain began with a discovery phase to understand:

  • Types of courses offered and how they were currently delivered.
  • Internet and device access for both staff and students.
  • Capacity of the internal team to manage a new platform.

Based on this, we recommended an e‑learning platform that matched their needs and resources, and planned a gradual rollout starting with a pilot group.

The Solution

Our support included:

  • Platform setup, user roles, and basic configuration.
  • Course structure design (modules, lessons, assessments) for selected programs.
  • Training for instructors on uploading content, managing discussions, and tracking learner progress.
  • Simple guides for students on how to log in, access materials, and submit work.

The Impact

The institution successfully delivered pilot courses in a blended format, combining face‑to‑face sessions with online materials and assignments. Students outside Monrovia were able to participate more consistently.

With the platform and internal skills in place, the institution is now better positioned to scale online offerings and respond to future disruptions in face‑to‑face teaching.
