Legacy Brain Professional Academy was born out of a simple but urgent reality: too many talented young people and professionals in our communities were being left behind by the digital revolution—not because they lacked potential, but because they lacked opportunity, guidance, and practical IT skills.
Founded in 2020 in Monrovia, Liberia, Legacy Brain Professional Academy emerged at a time when technology was rapidly reshaping how businesses operate, how governments deliver services, and how individuals learn and work. Yet many institutions, NGOs, and small businesses in our region were still struggling with unreliable systems, limited digital capacity, and a shortage of skilled IT professionals they could trust.
The founders—IT practitioners and educators with years of hands-on experience—saw this gap up close. They witnessed organizations investing in technology without the right strategy, youth graduating with certificates but not with employable skills, and communities eager to grow but unsure how to leverage technology responsibly.
The name “Legacy Brain” reflects our core belief: technology will change, tools will evolve, but a trained, empowered mind is a lasting legacy. We are not only building systems; we are building people whose knowledge, character, and skills will outlive any single device, software, or trend.
